Birthday’s have always been a BIG DEAL in my book.
Growing up,
there was ALWAYS something magical about birthdays…
As a child,
it was about the suspense of the gifts,
a free ice cream cone from Baskin Robbins,
and a birthday party in your honor.
In High School,
you got your locker wrapped,
and got to pick a restaurant of choice for dinner.
For me now,
birthday’s are quite different…
They mean ANOTHER YEAR OLDER….. {SIGH}…
While I don’t necessarily look forward to my day of birth,
I get to relive this “excitement” with Miss L on her special day.
For two years now,
we’ve done just that.
I hope to shape BIRTHDAY’S in the same way my parents did for me.
